Five suspects linked to the bloody attack on Oke-Ode community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have been arrested by police officers in the state.
The suspects are Umar Babuga, Mohammed Ahmed, Aliyu Buba Alade, Sidi Buba Alade and Sheu Buba Alade.
According to the spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the suspects were arrested in connection with the attack on Oke-Ode community, which occurred on Sunday, September 28.

At least 12 residents of the community, including the Baale of Ogba-Ayo, were killed in the bloody incident, while dozens were kidnapped by the bandits.
“They are currently in custody and under investigation,” the Kwara police spokesperson said on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, has blamed local residents serving as informants to bandits for the rise in kidnapping incidents in some parts of the state.
Addressing journalists in Ilorin on Friday, the Commissioner of Police also expressed concern over the delay in informing the relevant security agencies about the acts of kidnapping by the affected persons.
He noted that “instead of informing the police officer about their dilemma to take necessary action, the relatives of the kidnapped victims would look for money to pay the bandits.”
“The problem is that when your protections are in the hands of the kidnappers, they threaten you that if you tell the police, they will kill the victims.
“This is why many people do not give information to the police. They prefer to go secretly and pay the ransom without informing the police, which is why we encourage people to speak up,” the PC added.
