The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti State Command, wishes to inform the general public and all motorists that a tanker truck loaded with petrol has broken down and is blocking the entire carriageway on the Ado-Ilawe road.
The incident has completely interrupted traffic on that axis.
In view of the above, all motorists are strongly advised to avoid the Ado-Ilawe road for now and use alternative routes until further notice.
All relevant emergency services have been activated and are currently on the ground cordoning off the area in order to resolve the situation and restore normal traffic.

Motorists and road users are advised to fully cooperate with FRSC personnel and other security agencies carrying out their responsibilities at the scene. Obey all traffic signs and detours.
