Afrobeats singer Anthony Victor, also known as Victony, shared his story about getting his heart broken.
On the podcast ‘Is This Seat Taken?’ hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam, Victony remembered how he got really angry and felt foolish when he learned the truth about his ex-girlfriend and another guy.
His ex-girlfriend lied to him, saying the other guy was just a friend. But she was actually cheating on him with that guy.
Victony said: “My ex-girlfriend was talking to this other guy, and I knew about it. She would tell me about him. I thought, ‘Okay, he’s just a friend.’
“She kept saying he was her friend, but his name kept coming up. I thought to myself, ‘What kind of friend is this?’
“In the end, he wasn’t just a friend. When I found out everything, I felt really stupid.”
Victony, who is now 23 years old, said this heartbreak happened when he was much younger.
