Ali Baba said the atmosphere was tense until his friend, Percy Okoje, asked him to intervene and calm down the crowd.
“On that same day, they had brought a mockery of Strip. Keep in mind that between 1986 and 1988, there was a new Congo music life opportunity in Nigeria, people hugged her and, therefore, also brought all their dancers.
One of those ladies who make fun of Strip arrived at our school in Ekpoma, in fact, the room was full, ”he said.
He continued: “When it was time for her to undress, she ran out of the stage because some local people like us had not seen anyone like that naked and, therefore, some of them ran on stage.
“The girl was afraid and ran and said they needed someone to pacify the people to calm down so that the show can continue.
“Percy Okoje has just come to me said” Ali, please, can you help us pacify the audience and let them return? “
“So it was how I started Mcing and jokes, to pacify the people who had to start making jokes, and all you see, but you see that this day was a turning point.
“That was a turning point because as soon as I got on stage, I was at home. I felt at home, I knew this was what I wanted to do.”
