Nigerian rapper Falz shared that he has never told anyone “I love you” before.
During a chat on Menisms Podcast, Falz revealed he has never fallen in love before.
Talking about his dating life, he mentioned that he hasn’t been in a relationship where saying “I love you” was a thing.
Falz said, “I have never told anyone I love you. I have never been in love or reached that level of emotional commitment. And no one has told me they love me either. You know, in relationships, sometimes you reach a point where you say, ‘Oh, I love you,’ and the other person says, ‘I love you too.’ I’ve never been there.
“I haven’t made that commitment. I am always honest about my feelings and commitment from the start, so we both understand where we stand. This way, no one gets confused about what is happening.
“And sometimes, I feel like it’s important to talk about this stuff again and again. In the end, it’s not like I can’t express myself. Maybe I’m just always true to my principles and careful about how I handle things.”
