Nollywood actress, Iyabo Eye, has criticized Tanzania's blogger, Manga Kimambi, after a publication on social networks aimed at her daughter, Priscilla, and her husband, Juma Jux.
It all started on Friday when Kimambi went to Instagram to advise the couple to be low during the intense political season of Tanzania, which suggests that its online content was a distraction in the midst of the country's national elections.
Going to Priscilla as a sweet girl who has been welcomed by the Tanzans, the Blogger insisted that his publications subtracted what he called the struggle of the nation of his life.
She wrote: “It ITS.Priscy of your tanzano argument you love. You look like such a sweet girl, we have received you in our county with love weapons, but Tanzania is in a lifetime struggle.
“We are fighting for our rights. We need our people to pay attention to the fight so that we do not need you and Jux distracting our people with stupid content that the government wants to publish. We are in their ace* and we cannot leave it relevant so that we need it and Jux so that they feel during the next 5 months. After the elections, they can continue doing what they need to keep us relevant and we support it.
“Please do not make us hate your law, next week, when you go to London, we need to keep Jux in the room and do not publish stupid shit to destroy us from a fight of a life and while you are in it, you tell Jux to tell your best friend @Diamondplatnumz so that you also go to bed for the next 5 months. Since you enjoy that our privilege our government is providing you at our expense, but do not stay low during the next 5 months.
“If you need to do Kiki, take it to Nigeria and do it there … We love you again our sweet beautiful girl, so do not take it in the wrong way, we worship you. We love the Nigerians.”
Responding to these comments on Saturday, Iyabo Eye expressed a strong disapproval, accusing the blogger for intimidation and disrespect.
Labeling Kimambi in his publication, the actress said: “I am horrified for her audacity! Referring to my daughter and her husband in that way, calling her stupid content, trying to throw fear and intimidation, this is unacceptable.
“As a father, I have taught him to have confidence and authentic. The Mkambala are very peaceful, but keep in mind that I do not join my daughter.”
Eye also addressed the rumors surrounding his daughter's wedding funds, clarifying that he was not supported by the Government of Tanzania, but followed a family cultural tradition where the family of the bride covers the expenses.

She said: “With respect to the rumors of the wedding, it is not her government that gave us money, it is a cultural tradition in my family, the family's family coverage. I wanted a wedding made for my daughter in Nigeria and we, Nigerians, we gave her.”
She added: “I am an activist, and as one, I keep my principles and fight for what I believe, without insulting anyone or aiming at anyone, true leadership requires presence and courage. It is ridiculous that you, who lives in the United States, think that you can dictate my daughter and her husband, who live their lives in Tanzania.
“Keep my daughter out of your affairs. You will publish what you like, when you like it and how you like it. You don't need you to love her. She is very loved and very dear. We protect ours … We never forget that …” … “
