The Kano State Police command says that its agents have arrested 41 suspects, including key people, in relation to the horrible murder of the Divisional Police officer, DPO, of the Rano Division, CSP Baba Ali.
This was contained in a statement of the public relations officer, SP abdullahi kiyawa, on Thursday in Kano.
Police described the murder as a serious attack against the fabric of society and promised to ensure that justice was served.
Daily Post reports that, according to reports, the late CSP Ali was killed while it was active in Rano, an incident that has generated a generalized conviction from within and outside the State.
The statement said that the state police commissioner, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, has assured residents the commitment of the command to ensure that all those involved in the incident are arrested and processed.
“The police are working tirelessly to make sure that there is no stone without stirring to stop all those involved in this disgusting act,” said the statement.
The command, while praising the public members for their cooperation and condolences, urged residents to keep calm and continue supporting ongoing research.
The Police also reiterated their resolution to maintain the law and order throughout the State and asked citizens to join against peace and security threats.
