Everything was crying yesterday in the village of Eziakpu, Ikenga, Aguata LGA of the state of Anambra, during the burial of the murdered businessman, Mr. Martins Ifesinachi Onyakesi, also knows as a fish magnate.
Onyekesi was a fish processor and a seller who prominently announced his trade on social networks.
He was killed last month, after he was kidnapped by unknown people, who then threw his body in a nearby city, instructing his family to pick him up.
During his burial on Thursday in the community of Ikenga, the family, the friends and the supporters lamented when his body was lowered to Mother Earth.
It was a fast and solemn event that witnessed the presence of the vice governor of the state of Anambra, Dr. Onyaka Iberzim, who represented Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The event presented fewer speeches, except for family prayers next to its grave.
His death has attracted reactions, including the visit of the activist, Martins Otse, also known as a very dark man, who directed a protest for the incident to ask the murders to end in the state of Anambra.
