As Independence Day approaches, communities throughout the Chicago area are preparing to celebrate with fireworks, parades and family events.
Although the city of Chicago will not celebrate a special exhibition of fireworks on July 4, its regular fireworks shows of the Marina dock will continue as planned.
An exhibition mid -week is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2 at 9 pm, followed by a holiday show extended on Saturday, July 5 at 10 pm
Suburban cities, however, are hugging vacations with a complete alignment of festivities. The fireworks will illuminate the heavens in dozens of locations both on July 3 and July 4.
On Thursday, July 3, several suburbs will begin their celebrations early.
Aurora will celebrate fireworks at 9 PM near the Aurora and McCullough Park transport center. A parade will continue the next morning at 10 am
Berwyn will organize a show at Morton West High School, with doors that open at 8 pm
Bridgeview will begin its annual exhibition at 9:15 pm in Commoners Park.
Burr Ridge will offer a family area of ​​fun from 5:30 pm in Walker Park. Fireworks are still at dusk.
In Deerfield, fireworks begin at 9:15 pm from Shepard Park. A parade is scheduled for noon on July 4.
