The NECO National Examination Council has published the results of the 2020 Common Entrance National Exam.
He put the national cutoff marks at 142.
NECO Registrar and CEO Godswill Obioma, while presenting the results to Education Minister Mallam Adamu Adamu on Monday in Abuja, said a total of 70,580 candidates took the exam nationwide, of whom 24,416 they passed, getting a score. a minimum of 66.
Three students got the highest scores, Umeonyiagu Chinua Crucifixio, Anambra got 199, Onwuamanam Udochukwu, Enugu got 198 while Salaam Mariam Aderemilekun, Lagos got 197 respectively.
16,713 candidates were said to have been absent from the exam due to ENDSARS protests that rocked the country recently.
Adamu noted that with Unity Colleges now 110, admissions load capacity has been propped up to 26,625 for the current academic year, 720 seats were added with the establishment of six more Federal Colleges of Science and Technology in the six geopolitical zones.
