Nemsia Studios has announced the official global launch of 'The Fire and the Moth', an exciting thriller of action crimes now available at Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Taiwo Egunjobi and produced by Emiola Fagbenle, the film explores the smuggling of art, power and survival through a daring and Afro-western lens.
Before the launch, an exclusive private projection was made on May 14 in Alliance Française, Lagos, where invited to the guests, the cast and crew joined for an intimate visualization experience. The projection began and wrapped with an ovation of the foot of a captivated audience. A question and answer after the selection followed, which gives attendees the opportunity to interact with the actors and obtain information about the creative trip behind the project.
'The Fire and the Moth' stars Tayo Faniran as Saba, a smuggled contractor trapped in a mortal network after stealing a rare bronze head IFE. With powerful performances by Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ini Dima-Okojie, Olarotimi Fakunle, Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey and William Benson, the film combines the suspense, sharp images and an emotional full that takes long after the credits. The story, written by Isaac Ayodeji, has been praised for its originality and strong cultural relevance.
