A development expert, Micheal Ale has emphasized the need for Nigerians to prioritize the proper payment of taxes as a solution to the problems of social infrastructure shortage and lack of growth and development.
Ale has also urged the president of Tinubu, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to urgently introduce leadership training courses in schools for Nigerian young people so that the future of the country is more brilliant with better leaders.

He made these comments in a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of the state of Ekiti on Friday in commemoration of this year's democracy day.
Ale, who praised President Tinubu's initiative to ensure that there were immense funds for administration with the elimination of fuel subsidy, urged the president to continue prioritizing the well -being of people and provide a enabling environment for everyone to prosper.
He also urged citizens to pay their taxes so that there are sufficient funds so that the government at all levels provides social infrastructure and other dividends of democracy.
He said that this is an obligation that people must first comply and then challenge their representatives at all levels of government to deliver democracy dividends.
He said: “The payment of the tax will ensure that the Government has the means to properly lead and provide social infrastructure that need the masses for growth and development. If a president of the local government is given the autonomy of concentrating on managing resources within their local area and people in that town pay their taxes on when. The President will have enough resources to provide social infrastructure for people.
“This is what happened largely in Lagos, where you could see the budget of a single LGA that exceeds more than that of a state in Nigeria.”
Speaking about exemplary leadership, Ale said: “Without the proper provision of infrastructure, there is no government. It would notice that President Tinubu began his administration with a note of guaranteeing that there was enough money to administer his government. He eliminated the fuel subsidy and that allows enough funds available to administer his government.
“Federal assignments are not very large for each state and our governors are not seen entering unnecessary wars. The era of using a governor to fight another now has ended. Everyone concentrates on how to manage the enormous resources that reach their states properly and guarantee a good government and a peaceful coexistence.”
Ale commissioned the Government to provide a more enabling environment, saying: “Actually, we now have the money, but the relevant question to ask urgently is, has this huge money translated into significant growth and progress for people? Do we make children enjoy a good education at a very low rate, give LM social infrastructure and with more importance?
“Abroad, for example, people there are required to pay taxes on virtually all public service companies to enjoy these public service companies and there is a level of play so that everyone participates in the socio -economic activities of their countries. There is a massive and adequate provision of social infrastructure, food, security and jobs, and facilitates things for all and allows progress to have.

Ale, who is an expert in development, advised the Nigerian government to provide leadership training for young people to ensure that the nation has a better future.
