Odira Nwobu, Nigerian actress and content creator, has passed away in South Africa.
His death was announced in a Facebook post on Monday by Stan Ekwe, who wrote: “I don’t want to believe that ODIRA NWOBU is gone, I just spoke to his manager and he confirmed it, he also confirmed that the previous accident was not a joke. I am speechless and still don’t want to believe it. A heart attack at this age? 💔.”
Although Ekwe did not state the circumstances surrounding Nwobu’s alleged death, it emerged that the actor allegedly died a few hours after clubbing in South Africa over the weekend.
Also confirming the news, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, said Odira and eight other influencers traveled to South Africa for work when he suddenly passed away on Monday, November 24.

Rollas added that an autopsy is awaited to determine the cause of death.
A few months ago, it was reported that Nwobu was involved in a terrible car accident. A viral video capturing the accident showed bystanders pulling victims from the rubble.
Meanwhile, there has been no official statement from Nwobu’s family regarding his death at the time of filing this report.
