The remains of the leader of Afenifere (Ilosiwaju Yoruba) are scheduled to be buried in his hometown of Iye-Ekiti in the Ilejemeje local government area of ​​Ekiti state on Tuesday, August 4.

Pa Fasanmi died on Wednesday July 29, 2020 in Osogbo at the age of 94 after a brief illness.

In a statement that Hon Folabi Fasanmi made available to journalists on behalf of the family, on Saturday he stated that the decision to bury the rest early was in accordance with the wishes and wishes of the sage to be buried as soon as possible.

He revealed that on Monday, August 3, a recognition service would be held in honor of the Senator of the Second Republic in Osogbo, Osun State, at the All Saints Cathedral, in the Balogun Agoro area of ​​the state capital.
