The Jigawa State Police command says that he arrested a false soldier and three alleged car thieves after a stolen vehicle was involved in an accident in the area of ​​the local government of Kafin Hausa.
Police spokesman Sp Shiisu Lawan Adam confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday.
He said: “08/08/2025 at approximately 0750 hours, the agents attached to the Kafin Hausa division arrested three (3) alleged holidays of motor vehicles after they were involved in a lonely accident with a vehicle stolen in Sabon Sara Village, Kafin Hausa Lga.”
The suspects, all from the state of Kano, were identified as Kabiru Musa, 35 years old by Rimin Kebe Quarters, Umar Ali, 25, of Haye Quarters and Sabiu Bashir, 25 years old from the Aldea de Tokarawa.
Police said that one of the suspects, which initially identified as body lance Kabiru Musa of the Brigade of Guard 102, FCT Abuja, was discovered later that he was going through a soldier.
“A more discreet investigation carried out in the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Dutse exposed it as a false soldier,” said the police statement.
The articles recovered from the suspects included seven ATM cards, two driver’s licenses, a false military identification card and other incriminating items linked to fraudulent activities.
Police Commissioner, CP Dahiru Muhammad, praised the agents of the Kafin Hause division for what he described as his “professionalism and resistance.”
He also assured the residents of the State that the police are still determined to eliminate criminals.
The CP urged the public to help the police with credible information, saying: “The command reiterates its unwavering commitment to deliver the state of criminals and guarantee the safety of lives and property.”
Since then, the suspects have been accused in court after the investigation was completed.
