The Osun State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to help locate the family of a foolish man found in Madakeke, Osun State.
In a statement issued on Monday, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, said the man was discovered in Adelola area, Madakeke, on October 3, 2025.
According to the statement, “the person found is a man who cannot speak and was dressed in a Campala outfit when he was discovered.”
Police described the man as “dark in complexion, with no tribal markings, and approximately 3.4 feet tall.”
He was also said to “have an oval-shaped face, which could help family members or members of the public identify him.”
DSP Ojelabi stated that the police were making efforts to trace his relatives and had issued the public notice to help reunite the man with his family.
“Family members of the above person shown on the screen are directed to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters, Madakeke Division or Family Unit, Oke-Fia, Osun State,” the statement read.
The command urged anyone with useful information about the man or his family to report it to the nearest police station in the state.
