Popular street musician, Portable, has asked for forgiveness after he slapped a pastor who came to his bar to preach.
Recently, a video showed Portable hitting the pastor. This clip quickly spread, and people online and other pastors were very upset. They even talked about taking action against Portable for hurting a pastor.
On Monday night, Portable made a video to explain himself. He said his past experiences influenced his action. He asked for God’s forgiveness and explained why he thought the pastor was a threat.
Portable said, “My fans, problems in the community are different from those on the street. May God forgive me. I did not know the pastor was a true man of God. If I did, I wouldn’t have slapped him.
“I am also a child of God. I am human, not perfect. I am an orphan and some people have hurt my sister in the same way.”
