John Obi Mikel, who used to play for Chelsea, praised Erling Haaland, the Manchester City striker, for his great performance against Chelsea on Sunday.
Haaland scored a goal in Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mateo Kovacic, Haaland’s teammate, also scored for Manchester City in the match against the London club.
While talking on beIN Sports, Obi Mikel called Haaland a ‘top striker with Premier League experience.’
Mikel compared Haaland to Didier Drogba, saying, “Drogba was known for scoring whenever he got chances. Haaland is the same.”
Mikel added, “The first chance Haaland got, he took it and scored. He is a top striker with experience in the Premier League, which is something we don’t have right now.”
