The Nigerian singer Seun Kuti escaped by little of a lost bullet in the United States after a bullet crossed the window of his hotel room.
Kuti, who shared the heartbreaking experience through a video posted on his Instagram page on Sunday night, expressed shock for the incident and questioned the perception of security in the United States.
“I read somewhere that these are civilized people,” he said in the video. “Tell me that you are in the United States without telling me that you are in the United States. I am in my hotel room simply chilling and boom, this happened.”
The video, which has since turned viral, captured the shattered window and the bullet hole, generating concern between fans and followers.
Kuti did not reveal the specific city where the incident occurred, but said it was unharmed.
