The agents of the State Police Command have arrested one of the suspects involved in the murder of a popular business man in the State of Ondo.
The suspect identified as Ijalo, on March 1, 2025, shot the businessman Sumoila Awoyinka in his residence in the area of ​​the local government of Odigbo of the State.
According to the Public Relations officer of the Command Police, Olayinka Ayanlade, the suspect was arrested after a discreet investigation.
Ayanlade added that during the search for the suspect's residence, a gun made locally, the charms, among other things, were recovered.
After a discreet and exhaustive investigation, the command officers arrested the main suspect, an ijalo 'M', 04/10/2024, an alleged Osogbo resident.
“The arrest was made after a thorough human hunt led the agents back to the mineral, where it is believed that a gun made locally was used in the murder, along with the criminal charms, it recovered during a search in the suspect's facilities.
While praising the energetic efforts and the diligence of the men of the command, the police commissioner, Wilfred Afolabi, reaffirmed his commitment to guarantee the safety of all the residents of the State.
