An Ikorodu chief magistrates on Monday ordered the return of a 40 -year -old man, Lekan Adebeshin, in a correctional center for allegedly polluting a 15 -year -old girl.
Adebeshin, whose direction was not provided, is in trial for a position of three positions that borders the serious crime with the intensity, illegal treatment and threat to life.
The main magistrate, Mr. Ba Sonuga, did not take the defendant’s plea.
He resigned from the defendant in a correctional center and ordered that the case file be sent to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Lagos (DPP) for legal advice.
Sonuga postponed the case until September 18 for the audience.
Previously, the prosecutor, Asp Aminu Isaac, told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the crime on August 10 in No. 11, Ojomo Amoka St, Oju-Oro in the agricultural area of Ikorodu.
The prosecutor said the defendant allegedly treated her illegally and indecently when touching her sensitive parts of the body.
The prosecutor added that the defendant, at the same time and date, also threatened to kill the child under 15 if he informed someone who had sex with her.
The prosecutor said that the crime contravened the provisions of section 137, 135 (1) and 56 (a) of the Criminal Law of the State of Lagos, 2015.
