A mortal storm has gained three lives, wounding another four in the community of Obidi, Agwa, located in the local government area of the IMO state.
The tragic incident was preceded by rain at night.
According to a resident of the area, the thunderstorm took everyone offsembled, since the rain was relatively light.
“It was just a light rain, however, three people were beaten by lightning and died instantly.
“Four others were seriously injured. We have never witnessed this before,” said the source.
After the incident, it met that there is a generalized panic in the community, and residents question why such a catastrophic event occurred in apparently normal climatic conditions.
