The troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have arrested an alleged Gunrunner and recovered an AK-47 rifle during a Snap control point operation in the Bokkos local government area of ​​the State of Plateau.
According to Zagazola Makama, the arrest was made on July 3 at 5:45 pm in Mangar in the Daffo district, after receiving credible advice.
According to the security expert, the suspect has been identified as Zubairu Ahmed, 37.
It was intercepted by the troops and found in possession of an AK-47 rifle, a loaded magazine that contains three rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition (special), a motorcycle, two techno mobile phones, clothing material and the sum of N400.
According to the post in its X mango, “the suspicious and recovered articles are currently in custody for additional interrogation, while the efforts are ongoing to track and apprehend other members of the arms trafficking union.”
