Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has expressed admiration for the famous chef and former Guinness world record holder, Hilda Baci, who describes her as beautiful, intelligent and hardworking.
The actress joined other dignitaries at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, where Baci began her attempt to establish a new worldwide guinness record for the largest portion of Nigerian style jollo rice.
Speaking at Friday’s event, the actress emphasized that the celebrity chef represents a mixture of beauty and brain.
She encouraged young women who attended to aspire beyond the appearance working hard and making significant achievements for themselves.
She said: “He wants to break another record, and will break him in the name of Jesus. And we will all celebrate in the name of Jesus. I love Hilda because he is beautiful, kills, is intelligent, beauty with brains.
“For all the young women here, you can look beautiful, but you have to hurry. You have to do something special for yourself.”
Tribune Online reports that Baci, which became a family name in 2023 after its record cooking record, had planned to cook 250 rice bags, but then decreased to 200 due to technical considerations with the weighing equipment.
He explained that the crane and scale designed to measure the final dish had a maximum limit of 20,000 kilograms, including the weight of the personalized pot.
“It is safer for me to go below 20,000 kilograms so that my scale can take everything at the same time and, basically, that is why I had to reduce the amount and only reduced it by one thousand kilograms,” he said.
