Audu Rilwan Olayinka, the owner of Halal stores, which is dedicated to Islamic fashion and Arab accessories, recently revealed why exotic Arab fashion, incense and home accessories should appeal to Nigerians, in a chat.
He said: “All things Arab are usually very refined and of exquisite taste. That is why I decided to open outlets that would allow Nigerians to have access to such affordable luxury, rather than having to travel.
“We opened first in Ilorin and they received us very well. Arab fashion is not just for Muslims and here I categorically state that Arab fashion, perfumes and home accessories are for everyone. In fact, we have many Christians wearing our hams and perfumes.
“Our success in Ilorin is the reason why I decided to open another store in Ibadan. We are here now and we opened yesterday. For everyone, before now, you longed for everything Arab or Dubai, I congratulate you because now you can meet all your needs in Nigeria.
“Even if they are not residents of Ibadan or Ilorin, we operate online services and we can ship ordered products anywhere in the country. Saudi Arabia has landed in Ibadan ”.
He also claimed there would be customer discounts for September and a scavenger hunt to run at his Palms Mall in October.
