The armed bandits attacked Sunday on Sunday of the District of Uguwar Kade in the district of Mada, area of local government of Gusau of the state of Zamfara, killing three people and leaving three other wounds.
The incident, which occurred around 3:00 pm, was contained in a publication shared in X by Zagazola Makama security analyst on Monday.
According to Makama, the attackers assaulted the community and opened fire against the residents before fleeing the scene.
The joint teams of the security forces and the local hunters were deployed later, but the gunmen had already escaped.
“The bodies of the victims, along with the injured, were taken to the hospital for autopsy and treatment,” he added.
The authorities said that security patrols in the area have now intensified to avoid more attacks, while investigations are ongoing to locate those responsible.
