A better Orji, a resident of the state of Lagos, has been arrested by agents of the State Command for allegedly participating in an illicit sexual relationship with their biological daughters.
He met that the arrest followed a complaint from Orji's wife at the Surulere Police Station after discovering the unfortunate act of her husband.
She told the Police that the alleged abuse of her two daughters, 14 and 12 years old, had been happening for almost a year before it was discovered this year.
According to her, she often leaves girls under the custody of her husband, especially when she goes to the market.
The 28 -year -old mother told the police who returned from the market one day to find her husband participating in a sexual encounter with her 14 -year -old daughter in her room.
He said that after facing the daughter to get the truth, she discovered that her husband had also been involving her 12 -year -old daughter in sexual abuse.
“I got pregnant at age 17 and went to live with him. I gave birth to my 14 -year -old daughter. My parents decided to let us live together,” said the mother afflicted to the police.
CSP Benjamin Hundayin, the Public Relations officer of the State Police of Lagos, confirmed the arrest of Best Orji.
He said that the man had been accused of courts for pollution under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of the State of Lagos, 2015.
“The plaintiff alleged that his husband contaminated his two daughters in the Surulere area, hence his report that led to the arrest of the suspect.
“After his arrest, a medical report from a Reference Center for Sexual Aggression (SARC) was obtained. The suspect was subsequently prosecuted on May 9, 2025 by pollution under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of the State of Lagos, 2015,” he added.
