A two -story building under construction has collapsed in Craig Street, Shomolu, Lagos, during the roof process.
The structure is one of the two buildings that stand on the site. The exact cause of the collapse has not yet been determined from the time of this report.
According to the reports, the pillars of the building fell on a nearby church, which suffered partial damage.
Fortunately, no victims or injuries were recorded, and the faithful inside the Church escaped unharmed.
Emergency officials conducted a coordinated search for the site to confirm that no individual was trapped under the debris.
Since then, the construction site has been cordoned off, while the officials of the Emergency Management Agency of the State of Lagos, Lasma, carried out public awareness and security awareness in the area.
