Nollywood Dayo Amusa actress has launched her HIV test result to dissipate persistent rumors that suggest that she is living with the virus.
The speculation began after a content creator, Olaoluwa according to, published a video that names Amusa among five Nigerian actors allegedly infected with HIV.
Responding through social networks, the actress dismissed the claim as false and malicious. He recalled that in 2019 his negative HIV status had already made public as part of a campaign to promote consciousness and evidence.
She clarified that the previous publication was not an admission of infection but an effort to encourage people to “know their state.”
Amusa also threatened legal actions against according to disseminating not verified information.
On Tuesday, in response to renewed accusations, he shared a photo of his most recent HIV testing on Instagram, confirming that he is not infected.
Together with the result, Amusa urged her fans and Nigerians to make HIV test a routine part of her medical care.
“I still feel the need to encourage people to get the test and know their HIV state. It is better to know their state so that it can be guided and save others too,” he wrote.
