Adamawa Man, 29, arrested for allegedly killing a five -year -old boy

A 29 -year -old man in the state of Adamawa, Isiaka Hassan, was allegedly arrested to kill a five -year -old boy.

The Adamawa State Police command, who revealed this on Sunday night, said he received a report from a Hadiza Bashiru de Tingno, Llaga Lga, that his five -year -old son, Abba Bashiru, was last missing with Isiaka Hassan.

“With that, the command agents led by the Divisional Police officer, Tingno, quickly led an operation and arrested Isiaka Hassan,” the command said in a press release signed by the police officer officer of the Police, Suleiman Nguurje.

Nguuroje declared that the suspect had confessed to conspire with an accomplice still arrested to kill the child.

Hassan said he and his accomplice, who are still released, buried the child in a shallow tomb.

“The body was exhumed and taken to the hospital for autopsy,” said Nguuroje, adding that the State Police Commissioner of Adamawa, Dankombo Morris, had ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department to take charge of the case and guarantee the arrest of the suspect of fleeing.

“The command reassures public members about their commitment to ensure that justice is served and demands continuous cooperation in the fight against violent crime throughout the State,” Nguurje concluded.
