The Yobe State Police command said he arrested four alleged criminals for committing several crimes in different parts of the State.

The public relations officer of the command, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, declared this in a statement published on Saturday, indicating that among the suspects there was a series rapist.

According to the statement, the alleged 19 -year series rapist, Dahiru Ali, specialized in attracting his victims with sweets.

“The Police headquarters of the Potiskum Division arrested Dahiru Ali, 19, from Hayin Kwari for the alleged contamination of a three -year -old girl in the Potiskum Mutawassada area.

“A greater investigation revealed that the suspect had committed a similar crime against another three -year -old girl in the same neighborhood but in a different house.

“The suspect, who worked as a domestic help, attracted children to an isolated place with sweets and milk, where he abused them. He has confessed crime and investigation is ongoing,” said the statement.

In a separate operation, the command added that after a call of anguish of a farmer, agents of a division police headquarters, Damaturu, arrested Ibrahim Alhaji Ahmadu, 24, from the village of Dusuwa, Damaturu area of ​​Kallalwa, for the transfer in the land of the farmer.

He said that after being challenged by the transfer, the pastor allegedly threatened the farmer with a gun.

“The suspect was arrested through a well coordinated sting operation, and a shotgun with live ammunition was recovered,” said the police command.

The command also revealed that two other suspects were in custody for attacking their agents in Nguru while they were on service, describing it as an attack on the constituted authority.

In the declaration, the Yobe State Police Commissioner, Emmanuel Ado, condemned the attack not caused against police officers, the illegal possession of firearms and the heinous acts of child pollution.

He reiterated the zero tolerance position of the crime command and warned the perpetrators who gave up or in front of a decisive action, while asking parents and guardians to exercise a closer monitoring of their children to protect them from predators.
