A group of people with guns, thought to be bad guys known as bandits, kidnapped two nurses and some patients from a health center in Kuyallo, in the eastern part of Birnin-Gwari district, Kaduna State.
On Monday at 9:00 am, these bad guys first went to a nearby school called Government Day Secondary School. They were looking for students to take, but the school was empty. So, they went to a nearby health center instead.
Musa Alhassan, a leader of a local volunteer group keeping watch, shared what happened. He said the bandits wanted to take students but took two female nurses and some patients when they couldn’t find any students. This made everyone in the community very scared.
He said, “The bandits came to the school around 9:00 am, asking where the students were. But when they saw that the school was empty, they went to the health center and started taking people away.”
He also mentioned, “We don’t know how many patients they took.”
Someone who saw what happened said the bad guys came into the health center with guns and big knives. They forced people to go with them.
DAILY POST recalls that bad guys attacked another community in Kaduna State last Friday and took 22 people.
This new event is just one of many attacks by bandits in the state. However, the state government has not yet made an official statement about what happened.
