Philip Ojedayo, a former convict, once again found himself in police custody after the rapid response squad agents of the State of the State of Lagos, RRS, arrested him for allegedly destroying iron materials used to fence a park in the Ketu area of ​​Lagos.
The development was announced in a shared statement on the official Facebook page of the RRS on Thursday.
According to the statement, Ojedayo was arrested at approximately 11:30 pm on Tuesday during a routine night patrol by the RRS team that covers the Axota and Ketu axis.
The statement said: “Around 11:30 pm on Tuesday, the rapid response squad team of Lagos in the Night Patrol of Aceota and Ketu arrested an alleged vandal, Philip Ojedayo, 27.
“He wore an iron bar that used a park. Ojedayo is a former convict. He has been entering and leaving the Kirikiri correctional center three times.
“He was last released in February 2025. Today he would be prosecuted in the Court today (Thursday).”
In another case that involved a former convict, Olayinka Oluwaseyi, was arrested by the Ketu division of the State of the State of Lagos for attempted robbery at the Mile 2 bridge.
According to the spokesman for the command, Sp Benjamin Hundyin, the 28 -year -old suspect, was caught in the early hours of May 13, 2025, around 1:30 am, while trying to steal a motorist with the help of an accomplice who managed to escape.
