Must Read

Imagine a boy named Mubarak who is 21 years old. The police in a place called Gombe State in Nigeria caught him because he did some very bad things. These bad things were taking someone away and asking for money to bring them back, hurting others, breaking into shops, and stealing things.

Mubarak took away his young nephew, a seven-year-old boy named Haruna. He called Haruna’s dad, Bello, and said, “Give me 1.5 million Naira, or you won’t see your boy again.”

The police officer, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, told people they caught Mubarak on a Friday.

Bello, the boy’s dad, was very sad and scared after getting the call. He told the police what happened.

The police looked everywhere for Haruna. But they found something very sad. They found Haruna’s body in an old, empty house.

When Bello talked to the police, he said, “Mubarak called me and wanted a lot of money to let my son go. It made me very sad.”

The police found out that Mubarak did other bad things too, like going into shops when nobody was watching and taking about 30 phones.

They saw Mubarak used a phone card he took from someone to call and ask for the money.

Officer Abdullahi added, “It was very sad because on October 18, 2024, they found Haruna not alive anymore in a house that was not finished yet in a village called Dadin Kowa.”

The police said, “We are really sad about what happened, and we want to make sure Mubarak gets punished for what he did.”

The police are now getting ready to take Mubarak to court because of all the bad things he did.
