The Kano State Police command arrested three men accused of participating in an armed robbery in Abuja, which leads to the recovery of a stolen car.
The suspects, Ismail Imran, 20, Abdulaziz Yahaya, 31, and Musa Ibrahim Isah, 29, were collected in Kano on September 6, 2025, after a joint operation with local vigilantes. The three are residents of the Rigasa rooms in the state of Kaduna.
During the raid, the Police recovered a Toyota Corolla S Blue 2014 with the registration number KWL-78 DN. It was confirmed that the vehicle, which had a broken windshield, was stolen during an armed robbery in Durumi, Abuja, around 2:00 am on September 5. The victim reported that her family was assaulted in the attack, and a member was critically injured before the Robbers escaped with the car.
Kano’s police commissioner, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, praised his team for his rapid action and highlighted the role of community surveillance to achieve progress.

He pointed out that suspects are already cooperating with researchers, which could help expose other crimes related to them.
