Joint Task Force (Northeast) Operation HADIN KAI who stated this, in a statement on Monday, said that a search at the residence of the arrested suspects led to the recovery of cash, mobile phones, identification documents, ATM cards, jewelery and other personal belongings, which are currently undergoing forensic analysis to support ongoing investigations.
He said that during identification procedures, a suspect who was already in custody positively identified the two main suspects as persons who supplied materials used in the preparation of the improvised explosive device (IED).
The statement confirmed that other occupants of the residence were also linked to the network, adding that all suspects remain in military custody, undergoing detailed interrogations to facilitate further intelligence recovery before being transferred for further investigation.
