The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, or NSCDC, has caught a suspect for damaging property in the state.
This was shared in a message by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi, on Tuesday in Kano.
Idris-Abdullahi said the suspect, who is from Layin Tankin Magi, in the Kura Local Government Area, was caught by the NSCDC officers from the Garun Malam Division while they were on a night patrol.
“The suspect was caught breaking transformer parts and electric poles at Dakasoye Village, in the Garun Malam Local Government Area,” he said.
He mentioned that they found eight iron rods, three PHCN insulators, 43 quarter rods, three long nuts, an aluminum rod, a hammer, and a chisel with the suspect.
He also said that the suspect will go to court after the investigation is finished.
