The Bauchi State Police command arrested seven suspects after a violent clash between commercial motorcyclists and transport officials in the state capital.

Witnesses said the problems began when a group of motorcycle operators had an altercation with vehicle inspection officers (VIOS). The dispute intensified quickly when the riders mobilized and marched to the office of the Barota State Transport Agency (Barota) of Bauchi, as well as the Vio office, where the property was supposedly vanished.
