It was learned that the hoodlums attacked the firefighters during a fire incident that occurred at Biseri Oil Station, Orogun, Isale Adinni area of ​​Saki.
It is learned that the agency received a distress call regarding the fire incident on Thursday night.
It is learned that the fire agency immediately mobilized its officials to the incident site, but they were attacked by some hoodlums in the process.

The Chairman of Oyo State Fire Service, Hon Maroof Akinwande, when contacted, confirmed the incident to Newslodge on Saturday morning.
Akinwande urged the public to always cooperate with firefighters in the performance of their duties.
He said: “On the way to the fire scene, hundreds of angry mobs assaulted and attacked the crew members with dangerous weapons and in the process, the fire fighters sustained injuries and the fire boat was also vandalized to the extent that the windscreen was broken, the body of the vehicle was badly marked with blows from machetes and stones.
“The crew managed to escape during the attacks and eventually reported the unpleasant incident to the divisional police headquarters, Saki.
“Firefighters are currently at Saki police headquarters to prevent further attacks.
“The police are investigating the case and have arrested some suspects in connection with the attack.”
