Police arrest the alleged cross -border drug trafficker in Katsina

Police in the state of Katsina arrested an alleged cross-border drug trafficker and confiscated 11 illicit drug cartons along the border of the Republic of Nigeria-Niger.

According to Thursday, the expert in counterinsurgency Zagazola Makama, the suspect, identified as Ibrahim Sa’adu, 33, of the Kadangwaris village, was intercepted on September 16 around 9:00 am

According to the reports, Sa’adu, who was driving a blue Toyota with the record number Dra 31 AA, tried to illegally cross the Republic of Niger when drugs were discovered.

“In search of their vehicle, 11 drug cartons were recovered. The suspect and the exhibitions have been delivered to the Mai-Adua division for greater investigation,” said a source cited by Makama.
