The police in Katsina State did something very important. They caught a man named Usamatu Adamu. He is the village leader of a place called Unguwan Tambai in a town called Runka. People said he was telling secrets to bad guys called bandits.

A police officer named ASP Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu told this news when he showed many people who might have done bad things in Katsina on a Tuesday.

ASP Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu said that on October 3, the police had good information that helped them find and catch Adamu. Adamu is 45 years old and lives in another place called Sabon Gida village in Kaduna State.

They believe Adamu was caught because he might have helped in planning and stealing people, which is not good.

The officer told everyone that police worked very hard to find out the truth. They looked into many stories and found that Adamu was part of some bad plans. These plans hurt people in a town called Runka.

Adamu said he did something wrong, and he named two other people who might have helped him. These people are Rabe Sada, also called BBC, who is 62 years old, and another person named Nasiru Sha’aibu, who is 48 years old. They live in the same village as Adamu.

The police suspended all three of them because they think they shared secrets with a very bad man named Umar. Umar stays in a forest near Runka. The police are still trying to learn more about this problem.
