A building under construction has collapsed in Ibadan, the capital of the state of Oyo.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Ruby's Court Estate, behind the Saint Anne school, smelling, sorry, in Ibadan.
The president of the Fire Service of the State of Oyo, Hon. Marof Akinwande confirmed the development in a statement made available to the Daily Post.
According to him, “the emergency was reported exactly at 1:53 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The agency's staff immediately deployed at the incident scene, and when arriving at the scene, it was a building of floors under construction that collapsed, catching two male people who were rescued. The one who suffered a serious injury was taken to a nearby hospital.”
