Two Lives Lost in Auto Crash on Lagos-Badagry Expressway

The Federal Road Safety Team in Lagos said a sad accident happened on the Lagos-Badagry Road. It was a sad day because two people died in this accident on Saturday.

The head of the local team is Mr. Williams Manga, and he talked to us about what happened on Saturday. He said the accident happened early in the morning at 7:10 a.m. It was near a place called Mammy Market on the road. In the accident, one person got hurt.

Mr. Manga thinks that the accident happened because the vehicles were going too fast.

The person who got hurt was taken to the hospital in Badagry to get help. The two people who died were taken to the hospital’s mortuary.

Mr. Manga gave advice to everyone driving on the Lagos-Badagry road: “Please, drive slowly.” The road only has one lane, so it’s important to be careful.

The team also organizes programs to teach drivers about the dangers of speeding on this road, especially from Agbara to Badagry.

Mr. Manga said, “We heard about the accident right away and went to the scene quickly at 7:15 a.m.”

He explained that a Toyota bus with license plate MHY 165 YH crashed into a Bajaj motorcycle. The motorcycle’s license plate was LAAR 313 VP, and it was coming from Badagry.

Sadly, the two people riding the motorcycle died immediately. A person sitting in the front seat of the bus was hurt.

He also mentioned that one person in the accident wasn’t hurt at all.
