The Nigerian singer and composer, Darey Art Alade, has lost his car for a fire incident in the 3rd Continental Bridge.
He shared this in a publication on his Instagram page on Saturday morning, with a video of the burned vehicle.
He wrote: “Yesterday, around 4 pm, our car caught fire in the 3rd continental bridge and burned to the ground.
“It was a shocking and painful experience, but we are incredibly grateful that the driver has come out safely. They did not miss lives, and that is what really matters.”

Darey used the time to reflect on the value of life on material possessions.
“Moments like this remind us how fast things can change and how unimportant material things become before life itself,” he said.
While Alade loses the incident of the car to the fire, he emphasized that the position was not for sympathy, but to encourage others that may be through the loss.
Darey wrote: “We are not sharing this for sympathy, but to remind someone that things can be replaced. Lives cannot. We are choosing to remain grateful to God for protection, for perspective and by quiet force to move forward.”
Offering words of hope, Darey added: “If you are browsing a sudden loss of any kind, we hope this reminds you: we can rebuild. We can start again and find the strength to move forward. A breathing, a prayer, one step at the same time.”
The publication concluded with gratitude: “We thank all things. 💛 Thank you Jesus! Thanks to all those who stopped to help” “
