The Nigerian celebrities chef, Hilda Baci, has shared the emotional moment of Guinness World Records officially confirmed her last achievement: the biggest portion of Jollof Rice of Nigerian style.
Confirmation occurred on Monday after GWR revealed that Baci, in collaboration with the Food Brand Gino Nigeria, established a new record in the Gino World Jollof Festival in Lagos, producing an amazing 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) by Jollof Rice.
In a seven -minute video posted on Instagram, Hilda Baci captured clips behind the scene that shows the tense with his family and his loved ones before a video call from a GWR official; A representative of Gino Nigeria also joined the call.
During the call, the GWR official confirmed that the recipe and distribution process had complied with the standards of the organization and that all the required evidence had occurred.
He said: “With a total of 8,780 kg, Hilda Baci and Gino, you are the headlines of Guinness World Records for the largest portion of Nigerian style jollo rice. Congratulations, it is officially incredible!”
In reaction to confirmation, Baci expressed his gratitude to his team and followers for making historical achievement possible.
“The whole team went further. It is my name and Gino on this album, but this record is dedicated to each person who worked on this. This project was bigger than us. It is historical,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude in his subtitle: “This moment is not just mine, it belongs to Gino and all of us. This record was possible because Gino created the platform for this story to happen.
“For the tireless team that worked day and night, to every joy, every prayer, every hand that helped to stir, pack and serve … This world record of Guinness was based on unity, love and collective strength.
“We made history together. For Nigeria, Africa and for all those who believe in the power of food to get closer, this victory is also yours.”
