The agents of the Nigeria Security and Defense Corps, NSCDC, in the state of Benue arrested a man for allegedly destroying electrical cables in the early hours of Sunday, June 1, 2025.
The suspect was arrested in the village of the commissioner in Makurdi while trying to cut and steal electric cables from the public infrastructure.
When looking for the suspect, NSCDC staff found several articles in their possession, including used and unused condoms, as well as instant noodles packages, which increases more suspicions about their activities and intentions.
The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
